Forgiveness is perhaps the most important healing meditation of all. Clear unwanted feelings of anger, resentment and guilt. Forgive yourself and others easily and effortlessly. Make peace with family members and those closest to you. Clear away any buried anger that may be present and make way for the love that you are.
“A Course in Miracles” states that “anger is sickness taken out on the body”. Anger affects our health, our mood and sometimes even the actions we pursue. Someone once said that holding onto anger and resentment is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die! Therefore, for those who truly wish to feel peaceful and free, forgiveness becomes one of the most important things they can pursue.
Of course, there may often be people and incidents that we may find hard to forgive for various reasons. This meditation can help you to gradually dissolve your own resistance to forgiving. It may also show you certain incidents from your past that you thought you had forgiven, but that some part of you was still holding onto at an unconscious level.
